In collaboration with Wendy Copage (hiker and member of the Chakonian Hikers Association) we propose three easy* hikes around Leonidio to see the magical view from above.
The three hikes are:
This route is an easy walk, ideal for families, lasts 30 minutes and the distance is about 2 km from Fabrica to the three mills.
Starting from Fabrica, we go up the small hill towards the main road of Leonidion and turn right. Continue straight on for 1.4km crossing Leonidio. To the right and left we see beautiful mansions with colourful courtyards and fragrant courtyards. Leonidio is known for its unique architecture.

All the workshops are organised by the Non-Profit Organisation "Kynourio Soma".

Residents and visitors of Kynouria are invited for the 3rd year in a row to beautiful location of Fountain Dikaiou in Sapounakaiika , Arcadia to participate in the workshops organised by the Non-Profit Organisation "Kynourio Soma", as part of the Open Space project.
Every Wednesday during the month of August, there will be on offer unique experiences in experiential workshops in movement, painting, yoga, improvisation, and video.
The first workshop
On this route you have to take the car or motorbike. You will follow the road to Vascina for 10 - 15 minutes driving and, after leaving your transport, you will walk for about 15 minutes until you reach the flag that stands on the rock. From there, the view is breathtaking. From 240 metres you will feel the power of the landscape and the fresh air piercing every pore of your body. In front of your feet, the settlement of Leonidi, the sea and above you the endless blue sky. The view is breathtaking and will be unforgettable.
Start from the centre of the traditional settlement, through the picturesque alleys, opposite the big red rock. At a distance of about 5 km, after 40 - 45 minutes of easy hiking with a maximum altitude of 251 m, you will find yourself at the white-white chapel of Profitis Ilias. The view of Leonidio is incredible. The blue of the sea, the view to Plaka, the port of the traditional settlement, and to the big rock will fill your soul with tranquility, but you will also feel the need to explore the area even more. The circular route takes about 1.5 hours.
