Mycenaean tombs - Paleochori

Traces of a Mycenaean cemetery have been discovered near the village of Paleochori at Mikri Tourla. Specifically two box-shaped tombs and a vaulted tomb of the Mycenaean period have been discovered. It is believed that there was a settlement at the same period in the area. Interesting findings were discovered at the site of the tombs, mainly pottery of the Mycenaean and Late Mycenaean times.

On the hill at the entrance of the village, at the site of Mikri Tourla, there are three vaulted tombs of the Mycenaean era. At the site of Propandes there is the homonymous cave.
