Let's go to Poulithra - Peleta - Fokianos

If you start your trip from Athens to Leonidion, you will arrive at Poulithra after 3 hours (224 km). If you leave from Leonidion, you will arrive at Poulithra in just 10 minutes.

Poulithra is a beautiful traditional village, with old houses made of stone bathed by a sea so blue and clear, the Myrtoon Pelagos. Stroll in the village and enjoy the beauty of small yards full of flowers. The traditional mansions made of stone will take your breath away.

Continue uphill your day trip to Peleta, and you will arrive there after 12 Km. The landscape is breathtaking, the nature wild. In 11 minutes, you will reach your destination. Agioi Apostoloi, a magnificent church, stands in the middle of the village, next to the central square.

The village's altitude is 660 m. Prepare to be amazed by mansions made of stone, that reflect the rich architectural history of the village.

Leaving Peleta, you will go downhill to the famous beach of Fokianos. The road is has many narrow turns. The view of the sea combined with the wild beauty of the mountains create an unforgettable image.

After leaving Peleta, in 28 minutes and after 17,3 km, you will arrive at Fokianos.

Fokianos is a perfect semicircular bay. From its edges the green slopes of Mount Parnon seem as though they disappear softly in the blue sea. Land is not visible in the vast blue horizon. The island of Mylos is straight ahead, but however hard you try, you will not see it...

Do not forget to visit the small wetland, south of Moustos, by the coast.
